2023/10/13YAGEO Corporation (“YAGEO”) recently has discovered fraudulent activities involving fake social media accounts using YAGEO Chairman Tie-Min Chen’s identity. As fraudulent activities can come in various different forms, YAGEO hereby states that Chairman Tie-Min Chen has not used and is not using his personal identity to operate any public social media account, fan page or online group to communicate with the public. Any information online disseminated from the abovementioned channels should be deemed false.
For the avoidance of doubt, YAGEO hereby delivers the clarification above and will appoint legal professionals to prosecute if necessary.
